   As the world’s most energy efficient furnace, the Infinity™ 96 has a rating of up to 96.6 AFUE, helping to reduce your utility costs by up to 36% over the year. Actual savings will depend on the efficiency of your current system compared to the efficiency of a new system.

   IdealHumidity™ controls your home’s humidity level even when the system isn’t actively heating or cooling. The Infinity™ 96 also features SmartEvap™, which can keep unwanted humidity in your home to comfortably low levels.

   The Hybrid Heat™ system provides an economical solution to the rising uncertainty surrounding utility costs. Comprised of a heat pump, a furnace and a wall-mounted control, these systems deliver maximum energy-efficiency by automatically choosing the most economical heating source during moderate heating conditions.
   Carrier's ultimate Hybrid Heat™ system combines an Infinity™ 96 gas furnace with our Infinity™ 19 heat pump to provide soothing, superior comfort during both heat pump and furnace operation. This system is tied together by the Infinity™ Zoning Control which is set to a "balance point" that tells it when best to select heat pump operation and when to choose furnace operation.

1. Optional air cleaner cabinet – allows for the easy and convenient addition of a Carrier high-efficiency air filter for enhanced air quality.
2. Burner ignition – as one of the most robust and durable ignition systems available, Power Heat™ hot surface ignition replaces pilot lights and reduces utility consumption.
3. Two-stage gas valve – provides two heating capacities. The low capacity works during milder days while the high capacity engages during colder temperatures.
4. Variable speed inducer – precisely controls air intake within the combustion system for high-efficiency performance.
5. Variable speed blower motor – ensures consistent airflow and temperature maintenance, helping to keep rooms more comfortable while improving air quality.
6. Two heat exchangers – extract heat from the gas you use and transfer it to warm the air. The primary heat exchanger extracts 80% of the heat while the secondary heat exchanger extracts an additional 12 – 16%, helping to ensure efficient, reliable performance.
7. Sealed combustion system – reduces cold air infiltration while providing quieter operation.
8. Infinity™ furnace control board – allows the unit to connect to an Infinity™ Control for the ultimate comfort control.
